Pet Dental Insurance

Protect the smile behind every wag

Healthy Paws insures incisors, molars, and of course, canines

Keeping your pet’s teeth healthy is just as important as keeping their water bowl full. Like a balanced diet or daily exercise, good dental care should be part of your pet’s everyday routine. Of course, life happens — illnesses and accidents are part of it. That’s why Healthy Paws covers a range of dental injuries and illness.

Healthy Paws covers dental issues,* including:

Broken or chipped teeth

Let’s say your dog or cat breaks or fractures a tooth due to chewing on a bone or biting a fence. Ouch! Not to worry: we cover accidents like these, whether the teeth need to be repaired or extracted.

Dentigerous cysts

Mostly affecting smaller dogs, this fluid-filled sac can form around an unerupted tooth. The good news? Because unerupted or missing teeth are considered congenital, treatment is covered.

Stomatitis

This painful condition can affect our whiskered companions, resulting in severe inflammation of the mouth and gums.

Dental malocclusion

Overbites and underbites caused by this hereditary issue can turn every bite — even of a favorite snack — into a struggle.

  • Claims due to the lack of preventive dental care. Includes periodontal disease due to insufficient teeth brushing and retention of baby teeth.
